AHMEDABAD: India, who chose to bat in the World Cup finals, have lost three wickets. Those out are openers Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer. Shubman Gill, who scored four runs in seven balls, was the first to be dismissed. Gill was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the second ball of the fifth over. India crossed 50 in 6.3 overs. Rohit holds the record for most runs by a captain in a World Cup. Now Virat Kohli and K L Rahul are in the crease. Despite being able to score runs well, losing wickets is a setback for India.
Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bowl against India in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both the
teams will go with the same playing eleven that won the semi-finals. India reached the final by winning 10 out of the 10 matches, but Australia lost two matches.
