THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian and Australian teams will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram today for the second match of the T20I bilateral series on Sunday. The players will arrive at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport at 6.30 pm today. Preparations for the match are in the final stages. The ground does not require much renovations as it was a venue for four warm-up matches played ahead of the recently concluded ODI World Cup.

The Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram had undergone major renovations ahead of the World Cup. Both the teams will reach the stadium tomorrow for training. The Australian squad will train in the afternoon. Indian players will train from 5 pm to 8 pm. Although Malayali player Sanju Samson is not part of the Indian team, the umpire Ananthapadmanabhan, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, will be officiating the match.

The Australian squad will stay at the Taj Vivanta, while the Indian team will stay at the Hyatt Regency. The cost of tickets for this match is less when compared to previous matches held in the stadium. Tickets for the gallery cost Rs 750, while those for the lower level cost Rs 2000. The Executive Pavilion costs Rs 5,000, while the Royal Pavilion costs Rs 10,000. Students can get tickets for Rs 375. For this, students have to produce their photo ID cards at the entrance gate of the stadium.
