AHMEDABAD: Picture of Aussie player Mitchell Marsh sitting in the dressing room with his feet on top of the trophy after defeating India in the World Cup final to win the title had led to a lot of discussion. Many people have come forward for and against Marsh. Last day, a UP native had filed a police complaint against Marsh's action.

Now, Mohammad Shami, who was India's star pacer and the best wicket-taker in the World Cup, has come forward with a response on this issue. Shami responded to the media that Mitchell Marsh's actions has hurt him.

“I am hurt. The trophy for which all the teams in the world fight, the trophy which you want to lift over your head, keeping a foot on that trophy did not make me happy, - said Shami.

India, who gave a spectacular performance in the World Cup, reached the final by winning ten games in a row. Shami is a player who played a crucial role in India's victories. However, in the final, Australia easily surpassed India's 240 runs and lifted the world title for the sixth time.
