Two brothers stabbed to death in wedding procession melee

LUCKNOW: In a ruckus that happened midway during a wedding ceremony, two people were stabbed to death in Uttar Pradesh. Brothers Ajay Prajapati (23) and Ankit (20) were killed brutally in this strange incident. The incident happened at 11 pm on Tuesday at Kheta Sarai in Jaunpur district. Six people were involved in the murder.

The police informed that the accused were arrested after a small encounter. The two brothers got into an argument with those who had come for the wedding, which resulted in the stabbing. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

The brothers offered alcohol to the guests during the wedding procession which ignited talks that later morphed into a fight. Three of the accused were shot in the leg during the encounter with the police and were admitted later to the hospital.
