KOCHI: The Indian economy grew 7.6 per cent during the July-September quarter of the current financial year 2023-24, remaining the fastest-growing major economy. It was 6.2 percent during the same period last year. At a time when all the world's leading countries are facing a major slowdown, India is riding on the strength of the revival in the manufacturing and service sectors. During the review period, the Reserve Bank had expected the growth rate to be 6.5 percent.
