Man jumps into well after hacking wife in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man jumped into the well after hacking his wife in Aryanad in Thiruvananthapuram. The said person has been identified as Vijay Sudhakaran (68), of Anu Bhavan in Kulakode in Vellanad. His wife Nirmala (62) was injured in the attack that took place around 8.30 pm on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses said that Vijay Sudhakaran jumped into the well after hacking his wife. Nirmala, who is mentally unwell, was injured on her head. Vijay was rescued from well and both have been admitted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
