Anithakumari cleaning floor in prison; Anupama sitting in corner of cell without talking to anyone

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M R Anithakumari, the second accused who is in remand in the Oyoor child abduction case, became emotional while talking to the officials in the Women's Prison and Correctional Home in Attakulangara.

"It just happened. Never thought that we would be caught," Anithakumari told officials. Officials said that Anithakumari was behaving calmly in the prison. She has been given the job of cleaning the floor in the prison.

Anithakumari and daughter Anupama are housed in separate cells. No work has been assigned to Anupama. According to the jail officials, Anupama was seen covering her face and sitting in one corner of the cell without talking to other prisoners. However, she regularly eats the food given to her. There are two other prisoners in Anupama's cell.

Meanwhile, Anupama's Facebook page was found active yesterday. The videos that were previously posted on YouTube were uploaded on the Facebook page 'Anupama Padman' yesterday. Cyber experts said that someone may have hacked and misused her page.

Days after Anupama's arrest, the number of subscribers to her YouTube channel is increasing. She had 4.98 lakh subscribers at the time of her arrest. Now, the number of subscribers has increased to 5.27 lakh. Reports said Anupama had excellent technical knowledge in artificial intelligence. The income from her YouTube dropped when she was caught for creating fake videos. Anupama also had good knowledge in English. All her videos were in English.
