Two youths killed in bus-bike collision in Aruvikkara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two youths were killed after a KSRTC bus and a bike collided at Aruvikkara in Thiruvananthapuram. The two dead have been identified as Shibin (18) and Nidhin (21) of Aruvikkara. The accident happened near the old police station in Aruvikkara.

The KSRTC buas was going to East Fort from Vellanad and the youths were on their way to Vellanad from Aruvikkara.

Eyewitnesses said the bike losing control went and hit the KSRTC bus. They were taken to the medical college hospital, but their lives could not be saved.

After the accident, the bus turned to the side of the gutter. The front glass of the bus has been broken. Two passengers of the bus sustained injuries.
