Driver suffers chest pain while driving school bus; rushed to hospital but could not be saved; incident at Thrithala 

PALAKKAD: The driver who suffered chest pain while driving the school bus was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The deceased is Faisal (44), a resident of VK Kadavu, Thrithala, Palakkad. The incident took place today morning while he was driving the bus to school with the children.

The heart attack occurred when the bus driven by Faisal, a driver of Thrithala IES English Medium School, reached Koottupaatha. He was taken to a private hospital in Pattambi but could not be saved.

When Faisal felt chest pain while driving the bus, the first thing he did was park the bus on the roadside. He immediately called a friend for help. He went to the hospital after telling the matter to the Ayya who was on the bus. It was another driver who came later and took the children to school.

Funeral services will be held at VK Kadavu Juma Masjid on Thursday at 10 am. He was the son of late Abdur Razzaq and Maria. Wife: Ayesha, Children: Fayaz, Mizna
