'Sunil Kanugolu who prepared the BJP to attack minorities is the adviser of Congress in Kerala'; Minister Riyas slams Congress

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Muhammad Riyas has come out lashing the Congress and its adviser Sunil Kanugolu.

"UDF has introduced an election event management chief to topple the LDF government in Kerala. That chief's name is Sunil Kanugolu. This is not the first time he is doing election management work. It was the same Kanugolu who helped the BJP to win the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 with a single majority. Kanugolu had also played an important role in helping the BJP and Yogi Adityanath come to power in 2017," Riyas said.

"It was Kanugolu who advised Yogi Adityanath to create communal riots and communal polarisations in order to come to power. Communal riots such as the Muzaffarnagar riots are right in front of us. Kanugolu helped Yogi become the Chief Minister by unleashing violence against the poor Muslims and Christians. His hands are not clean from those blood stains. Now, that very same Kanugolu has been appointed as a special invitee to the executive committee of KPCC. How are self-respecting, secular-minded Congress workers looking at this issue? What is the Muslim League's opinion on this issue?" he said.

"Sunil Kanugolu, who gave all the advice and prepared the BJP to lead the attack against innocent Muslim and Christian brothers, is now the adviser of Congress in Kerala. Three important offices are working in our state to support BJP's all-out efforts to destabilize the Left government. The first one is the state office of the BJP and the second is the office of the Governor of Kerala. The third one that is functioning to aid the efforts of the BJP and RSS in destabilizing the LDF government is none other than the KPCC office. However, the LDF government will continue to march forward despite all such efforts of the UDF and the BJP. The people of Kerala are with the government," Riyas added.
