THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The security of Raj Bhavan has been beefed up as the Governor-SFI war continues. Security has been beefed up by installing more barricades. Meantime, the police have made tight security arrangements till the programme at the University of Calicut attended by the Governor is over. The police are keeping a vigil to ensure that there are no security problems until the governor returns at night after the event.

The Governor will participate in a seminar on 'Sree Narayana Guru Revivalist Pracharakan' in the seminar hall of the Sanathanadharma Chair. There will be heavy checking to prevent SFI's black flag protest here. Only pass holders will be able to participate in the event. Leaders of RSS and BJP are also participating in the event.

The governor had the other day asked to remove the banners of SFI that had been put up against him at various places in the campus. Soon after this, the SFI tied the banners again. Apart from SFI, DYFI is also protesting against the governor today. The DYFI will hold protest meeting in 2000 places today raising the slogan ‘Sanghi Chancellor Quit Kerala'. The DYFI demanded that the governor who does not accept the constitution and does not accept the decisions of the legislature elected by the people of Kerala, should return. The organization informed that they will raise protest banners against the governor at various places.
