Private tuitions legalized in UAE; golden chance for children and housewives, how to apply

DUBAI: Private tuitions for students have been legalized in the UAE. The authorities also informed that the permit has been made mandatory for teaching other than in educational institutions. Registered teachers, employed people, unemployed people, students aged 15 to 18 and students studying in universities can apply for the permit. The permit is free for applicants for two years. Fine will be imposed from those taking tuitions without permit.

Private tuitions were earlier banned in the UAE. The present decision is taken by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization and the Ministry of Education. The permit was introduced to avoid illegal private tuitions.

How to apply?
Eligible candidates can apply online through the digital platform of Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE). On the website, applicants can find 'Private Teacher Work Permit' under the 'Services' tab. Applications should be submitted here.

Period
If found eligible, a two-year permit will be free. Those approving the permit must sign the 'Code of Conduct' document. Those taking tuition without the permission of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization will be fined heavily. The authorities have not yet specified the amount of the fine.

Online tuition
Those who have UAE residency visa can also take tuition sitting from their own country. This permit is sufficient for those taking online tuitions. There are also no restrictions on how many children one can teach. You will get the permit within five working days of application. Applications rejected can reapply after six months.
