navakerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A senior officer has been designated at the district level, alongside the collector to address the 6,21,270 complaints received across 136 constituencies as a part of Nava Kerala Sadas.

Most complaints were lodged within local departments with comparatively fewer reported in sports and port departments. The review of complaints from Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts, previously discussed in the hearing is underway. In Thiruvananthapuram, even on holidays, employees went to the taluk office to scan and upload complaints onto the Navakerala Sadas website established by the National Informatics Centre.

The sorted grievances are being channeled to respective departments through the specialized Navakerala Sadas platform. The exact number of complaints directed to each department will be determined only after this meticulous categorization process is finalized.

Complainants will be promptly informed about the actions taken:

1. Notifications regarding complaint resolutions will be sent via SMS/WhatsApp to those with mobile phones and through letters for people without mobile access.
2. The status of complaints can be tracked on navakeralasadas.kerala.gov.in using the complaint's receipt number or mobile number.

The access to complaints and their resolutions is as follows:

1. Only the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary can view all complaints and their resolutions uploaded on the site.
2. Departmental officials can access complaints limited to their respective departments.
