Some bishops were thrilled when BJP invited them to party, they forgot Manipur: Saji Cheriyan

ALAPPUZHA: Criticizing the bishops who attended the party at the Prime Minister's official residence on Christmas day, Minister Saji Cherian said that some bishops were thrilled when the BJP invited them to the party. The minister also alleged that the bishops forgot the Manipur issue when they ate the grape wine and cake provided by the BJP. "The bishops who went to BJP's party did not talk about Manipur. It was not an issue for them," Saji Cherian said while inaugurating the CPM local committee office in Alappuzha's Punnapra.

The minister said that the LDF will come to power in the state in 2026 as well, and the Left party will win massively in the parliamentary elections. He also said that the media is practicing anti-communism at all levels.
