Proud spiritual moment, devotees should light lamps in their homes during time of consecration; SNDP extends support

ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan has come out in support of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Vellapally Natesan said that the Pran Pratishtha Karma in Ayodhya was a spiritual moment that would raise pride. He also requested all believers to light lamps in their homes during the time of consecration.

"Lord Shri Ram is an idol figure in both personal life and karma path. He is the perfect symbol of religious harmony. The virtue of the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Shri Ramachandra in Ayodhya on the banks of Sarayu must reach every house. Everyone should light lamps in their homes and pray for the welfare of the world at the time of consecration," Vellappally Natesan said.

He was speaking after receiving the 'Akshatham' from Ayodhya in connection with the construction of the temple. He received the 'Akshatham' from RSS regional leader AR Mohanan.
