Will Prabhas donate Rs 50 crore to Ayodhya Ram Temple? know the details

HYDERABAD: Rumors have been afloat in recent times about actor Prabhas splurging Rs 50 crore for the Ram temple, which will be consecrated on January 22. More stories linked to Prabhas and the purported crores he would donate to Ram Temple got into the news but there remained an unambiguity in it. And now, answering all queries, close confidantes of actor Prabhas have come up with an explanation regarding the matter.

It was after the success of his latest movie ‘Salaar’ that news emerged about Prabhas donating Rs 50 crore to the Ram temple. Also at a recent event, Andhra Pradesh MLA Chirla Jaggireddy claimed that Prabhas would bear the food expenses on the opening day of the Ram temple.

Meanwhile, all people related to the actor termed the news as fake. It is not clear whether Prabhas was invited to the dedication ceremony of the Ram Temple. Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Dhanush and many other South Indian stars have been invited to attend the ceremony in Ayodhya.

Prabhas will appear in Kalki 2898 AD, which will be released on May 9. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in lead roles. 'Kalki 2898 AD' is a futuristic sci-fi film inspired by mythology.

After its smashing debut at the San Diego Comic-Con last year, the film has garnered global attention and is being awaited with great anticipation by the audience.
