'Very personal visit'; Suresh Gopi visits Aruvithura Church in Pala

KOTTAYAM: Thrissur NDA candidate Suresh Gopi on Thursday visited Pala bishop, just one day after the final election campaign. As per reports, the NDA candidate will also visit Vellappally Natesan, Varapuzha bishop and NSS chief G Sukumaran Nair.

On early Thursday morning, Suresh Gopi reached Kurishu Palli in Pala and made the morning prayers.

“Last night I visited Aruvithura Church. It was a very personal visit as I have vowed to visit the place after the election campaigning. There is good hope about the elections. People have already decided.” said Suresh Gopi.

During the Kalashakottu held on Wednesday, the BJP in Thrissur made the event more grandiose by including traditional kavadi, Shinkari Melam and Nashik Dhol performances. Balloons with the photo of PM Modi and Suresh Gopi filled the BJP camp during the showdown on Wednesday. Hundreds of people including women shaked a leg to the electrifying beats of the Nashik dhols in Thrissur.
