THRISSUR: Sisters found dead after falling into a pond in Panthallur, Thrissur. Hasnatha (13) and Mashida (9) are the children of Ashkar, a resident of Thrissur Pazhunnana. The accident happened on Sunday evening. These girls came to Panthallur with their families to attend a wedding ceremony.

It is reported that the accident happened when they went down to wash their feet in the pond in the middle of the field. The bystanders noticed the accident and rushed them to the hospital but I vain. The bodies of both are kept in the hospital.
