Muraleedharan harshly criticizes governor’s wayside protest demanding arrest of SFI activists  

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K Muraleedharan MP harshly criticized Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for the sit-in he staged after SFI activists waved black flags at him. The MP said this while responding to Governor's act at Nilamel in Kollam on Saturday.

K Muraleedharan said the Governor should have tried to handle the issues with maturity. He alleged that the police are making adjustments for waving the black flags and that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is trying to create martyrs with SFI. K Muraleedharan added that there are no concessions for their workers.

Former finance minister Thomas Isaac's response was that the governor is waging war against the government. He alleged that it was the governor who tried to create conflict and that it was a move by the BJP to interfere with the law and order of Kerala.

CPM state secretary M V Govindan also responded that the governor's foolish act is fully supported by the Centre. 'External interference with the constitution. The governor is not working as usual. The media itself has made it clear that SFI activists hitting the car is a lie. It is very clear from the footage that the protesters did not even go closer to the vehicle. Like many things, this is also a lie. No misdeeds will be tolerated.

Will not demand to recall the governor. If X goes, Y will come, so a political decision has to be made regarding recall. Sometimes an RSS person like this will come. With the arrival of the CRPF, no one will stop protesting against the Governor. All announced protests will take place no matter whoever comes. The procedure has not been followed in anything except in the deployment of central security,’ responded Govindan.
