THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and opposition leader V D Satheesan engaged in a war of words at the advisory committee meeting. A dispute broke out between the two over the postponement of the assembly session on February 9. Satheesan had earlier asked to postpone the assembly session on that day as a campaign march under the leadership of KPCC called 'Samaragni' is being organized.

To this, Pinarayi Vijayan also replied, 'you are also cooperating well’. With this, Satheesan also gave a befitting reply. A verbal dispute was witnessed between the two and soon the opposition walked out of the advisory committee meeting.

Meantime, the advisory committee decided to cut short the assembly session. The present decision is to end the session by 15th of next month. Earlier it was decided to convene the session till March 20. The budget will be presented on February 5.
