AYODHYA: The Prana Pratishta ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya took place on January 22. Devotees were allowed to visit the temple from the very next day. It is estimated that more than five lakh devotees arrived on the first day. Now, the authorities have released the number of people who reached Ayodhya in the first week.

Figures indicate that 19 lakh devotees visited the Ram temple in Ayodhya between January 23 and 28. It is estimated that an average of two lakh devotees visit Ayodhya every day. The local authorities and the temple trust are working hard to control the crowd and ensure a smooth experience for the devotees. Measures have been taken to ease queues and maintain safety norms amid large crowds.

Due to the overwhelming number of pilgrims, the temple administration has set aside specific times for darshan. The authorities hope to complete the construction of the temple by the end of this year.
