KOCHI: The Ernakulam Central Police registered a case on the complaint of a woman from Ernakulam, who was assaulted at the office of advocate Aloor. The complaint said that she faced the assault when she visited his office for a land-related case.

Aloor first demanded Rs 7 lakh for the case. He demanded Rs 2 lakh through account and the rest in cash. She handed over Rs 5 lakh earlier. He demanded cash to pay bribe to the judge and the commissioner. When he demanded Rs 2 lakh again, she said that she doesn’t have the money. Touching her shoulders, he said that it would be enough to compromise on some things instead of the fees. She immediately left the place and lodged a complaint at the central station.

The woman in her complaint said Aloor tried to talk to her many times directly and through her friends after that. A complaint was also filed in the bar council. However, Aloor responded to the media that the case is fabricated and the allegations in the complaint are untrue.
