Son on killing spree, mother busy with sex parties; shocking case from Michigan

MICHIGAN: A couple are undergoing trial after their son fatally shot four of his schoolmates to death. Ethan Crumbley's parents, Jennifer Crumbley and James Crumbley are on trial for involuntary manslaughter. Ethan revealed about experiencing mental conflict which he attributed to his gross crime.

However, the court blamed the parents for not finding enough time to hear their son and help him come out of his mental distress. They were also charged with providing a gun to their mentally challenged son. The incident happened in November 2021. The four student victims were between the ages of 14 and 17. The court awarded a life sentence to Ethan in this case.

It was revealed before the court that Jennifer had organized sex parties in hotel rooms without spending time with her son who was conflicted with mental stress. Another man Brian Meloche testified to police about having a relationship with Jennifer at the time of the murder. Jennifer and Brian used to have sex parties in hotels. The prosecution alleges that he used an app called 'Adult Friend Finder' to find strangers and arrange meetings with them at hotels after work.

But Jennifer denied the prosecution's claim about attending such parties. She denied claims of sex parties but said about visiting hotels for business needs. The prosecution said that it is irrelevant for the parents to say they had no previous knowledge about the mental state of their son. The prosecution blamed the parents for not being with their son during such a critical time.

However, the defendant argues that the parents never expected their son to do such an act and it is not right to prosecute the parents for the crime committed by their son.
