'Supreme Court issuing verdicts that do not hurt Modi'; MA Baby criticizes Supreme Court

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM politburo member MA Baby has criticized the Supreme Court. MA Baby, who alleged that the apex court was issuing verdicts that do not hurt Narendra Modi, added that one is forced to ask if the Supreme Court is not ashamed of it. MA Baby was speaking at the KSTA conference in Kannur.

"The verdict abrogating Article 370 of the Constitution is a disgrace to the country. The Supreme Court will announce a neutral verdict in some cases. That too on a topic that does not cause problems for Modi. When the case related to Adani came up, the plaintiff became the defendant. I don't have any problem even if a case is filed against me for saying this," MA Baby said.

MA Baby had said the other day that there was nothing in the union budget for Kerala and that the budget was disappointing for everyone.

"However, people like Adani and Ambani will not be disappointed with the budget. The central government is functioning to give contract work for Ambani and Adani," he said.
