Malayali expat wins Rs 33 cr in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw

ABU DHABI: A Malayali expat won a prize of 1.5 crore dirhams (more than Rs. 33 crore) in the Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw. The lucky man, Rajeev Arikkattu, residing in Al Ain, got his dream prize in the 260th series draw of Big Ticket. Rajeev lives with his wife and children aged eight and five. Working as an architectural draftsman, Rajeev said that he did not expect to win the grand prize.

Rajeev participated in the big ticket draw for the first time three years ago. After that, he continuously participated. He bought the prize ticket online along with 20 other friends and family members. Rajeev says he has not decided what to do with the prize money.
