Molestation of plus one student in Pathanamthitta; Three people, including KSEB employee arrested

PATHANAMTHITTA: Three persons, including a KSEB employee and a minor, have been arrested for molesting a plus-one student. The incident happened in Pathanamthitta. KSEB employee Mohammad Rafi, Sajad and a minor were arrested. Another youth who surrendered at the Ranni DySP office is being interrogated in the case.

It is reported that there are 18 accused in the case. Police registered a case and started an investigation based on information from the Child Welfare Committee. There is also a complaint that the nudes of the victim of molestation were captured and circulated.

Police say that more people became friends with the child through Instagram. Indications are that minors are also among the accused. After the girl refused to go to school, she was subjected to counselling. The information about the harassment came out after that. The help of cyber police was sought in the incident.
