Poultry farm owner arrested for threatening and subjecting minors to unnatural sex for three years

KOLLAM: A pig farm owner was arrested for subjecting minors to unnatural sex. He committed the act after giving them liquor. He has been identified as Baiju of T V Puram at Vaikom in Kottayam. The incident happened at Chadayamangalam in Kollam. Baiju has a pig farm in Edathara.

He abused the children of the area after calling them for work in his farm. He will force children to stay in the farm at night as well. He serves them soft drink laced with liquor along with the food. He shows them obscene videos and abuses them. He continued the act after threatening to release the visuals of the abuse captured on his phone.

He abused children between the ages of 14-16. Parents who noticed the change in their children's behaviour reported to the Childline. The counselling that followed brought the incident to light. He was sexually exploiting children since 2022. Baiju, who went into hiding, was caught by the Chadayamangalam police. He was produced in the court and remanded.
