Complaint against conductor for biting student over dispute in running bus

KAKKANAD: A complaint has been filed against a conductor of a private bus for biting a student following a dispute. V J Krishnajith of Kangarappady and a tenth-class student of St George School in Edappally is the victim. The conductor bit him on his chest and the latter later sought treatment at Thrikkakara Cooperative Hospital. Two bite marks are there on his chest. A complaint has been lodged with the police, child rights commission and the motor vehicle department.

The student said the conductor of Madeena bus operating services in Kangarappady route bit him. His complaint said the conductor misbehaved and slapped him when he boarded the bus from Edappally. He was asked to move from one place to another in the bus many times.

The conductor got provoked when the boy asked him whether it is not enough if he stood there. The conductor then argued and attacked him. The incident happened when the bus reached Judgemukku Bus Stop.
