Elephant runs amok during festival in Aroor, youth sustains injuries in clash

AROOR: A youth was stabbed in a clash between two groups amidst a festival at the Kumarthupady Devi temple in Chandiroor. Albin, a native of Aroor, was injured and is undergoing treatment at Nettoor hospital. The police said they have received a clear hint about the accused and that the reason for the attack was previous enmity.


The elephant ran amok during Ezhunnallippu. The youth was stabbed when the people ran in panic. So, the people came to know about the incident very late. The police said a dispute which broke out earlier during a fest led to the attack. Police said the accused will be arrested soon.
