Admitted in hospital, man found hanging in hospital premises

NEYYATINKARA: Ajikumar (46) from Udiyankulangara Azhakikonam Vattavila Kannanvilakathu was found hanging from a tree in the Neyyattinkara Govt hospital premises. He had been receiving treatment at an Ayurveda hospital since the 31st of last month and was found dead yesterday morning. Earlier, on the 25th, the vehicle he was traveling in collided with another vehicle at Amaravila resulting in him being assaulted by bystanders.

Parassala police intervened and resolved the issue. However, Ajikumar continued to experience body pain and difficulty, prompting him to seek treatment at Neyyatrinkara Ayurveda Hospital. Tragically, he took his own life. Relatives believe that he was suffering from depression following the assault. Wife-Sharika. Children- Navya and Kavya.
