Governor Arif Mohammad Khan applauds Vellappally Natesan's leadership in advancing social change at Kerala Kaumudi anniversary event

KOLLAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan praised Vellappally Natesan as a remarkable leader who is swiftly transforming Guru's ideals into reality. During the 113th anniversary celebration of Kerala Kaumudi in Kollam, he honored SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Natesan, who was elected as SN Trust Secretary for the tenth consecutive time, with the respect of Kerala Kaumudi.

He highlighted SNDP Yogam as a movement ignited by Gurudev, emphasizing the importance of education for social change, as envisioned by Guru. He commended the SN Trust, initiated under R. Shankar's leadership, for working to realize Gurudeva Darshan's vision, with Vellappally Natesan leading both movements with dedication.

Under Vellappally Natesan's leadership, SNDP Yogam and SN Trust have established numerous educational institutions and housing projects through the Sneha Bhavanam project aimed at providing shelter to the homeless. Additionally, special training schemes have been implemented to help the new generation prepare for the civil service examination. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan praised Vellappally Natesan's unmatched dedication and performance in advancing the backward communities in line with Gurudeva Darshan's teachings.

The Governor also conferred the Kerala Kaumudi award upon eleven individuals for their outstanding contributions in various fields, including philanthropy, education, and industry. MP NK Premachandran presided and Vellappally Natesan delivered the keynote address. Kerala Kaumudi Chief Editor Deepu Ravi delivered the introductory speech, while S. Radhakrishnan, Kerala Kaumudi Resident Editor and Kollam Unit Chief extended the welcome. The event was attended by hundreds of people including office-bearers of various Sree Narayana movements, people's representatives and cultural, social and political leaders.

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan hailed Kerala Kaumudi as a beacon of knowledge and a catalyst for social change. He praised the newspaper, founded 113 years ago by CV Kujunraman on Sree Narayana Gurudeva's instructions, for championing social justice and enlightenment for marginalized and backward communities. He commended Kerala Kaumudi's unwavering commitment to Gurudeva's message and its pivotal role in Kerala's social renaissance.
