ALAPPUZHA: The police have registered a case against two teachers in the case of suicide of a seventh-class boy. The Mannancherry police registered a case against the school's sports teacher Christudas and teacher Remya. The case is for beating him with a stick under the Juvenile Justice Act. The complaint lodged by his parents said that their son Prajith (13) of Kattoor in Alappuzha took the drastic step following the mental harassment of the school authorities. The action is based on it.

Prajith committed suicide by hanging on February 15 in his school uniform after returning from school. On that fateful day, Prajith had accompanied his friend, who felt dizzy, near the pipe to drink water. The complaint mentioned that at this time, the teacher announced through the microphone that the students were missing and hearing this, Prajith rushed to the class and then his teacher beat him with a cane and even searched his body.

The teacher then stared at him and asked do you take ganja? Another teacher also questioned him. In the complaint filed by his father, it is stated that the two teachers insulted him when he left the school and beat him in front of others.
