'Anil Antony should be introduced to Pathanamthitta', P C George expresses displeasure

PATHANAMTHITTA: BJP leader PC George has expressed his displeasure over not getting a seat in Pathanamthitta in the first phase of candidate list. He said that Pathanamthitta is difficult for Anil Antony, who is now declared as a candidate. He made his displeasure public by saying that Anil Antony is not familiar with the constituency. PC George said that the people of Pathanamthitta wanted him to contest. PC George said that Anil should be introduced to Pathanamthitta.

BJP State President K. Surendran stated that lotus will bloom in Kerala and PC George will get the consideration he deserves. He said in response to PC George's statement that there are still days before the election.

In the first phase, the BJP central leadership announced the candidates for around 195 seats. These include 12 seats in Kerala. Rajeev Chandrasekhar from Thiruvananthapuram, V. Muralidharan in Attingal, Suresh Gopi in Thrissur, Shobha Surendran in Alappuzha, Abdul Salam in Malappuram, ML Ashwini in Kasaragod, MT Ramesh in Kozhikode, Anil Antony in Pathanamthitta, C Krishnakumar in Palakkad, C. Raghunath in Kannur, Praful Krishna in Vadakara, Nivedita Subramaniam in Ponnani are other candidates.
