'Suresh Gopi is Modi's pet, afraid of dirty games in politics'

Director Major Ravi has demanded that actor Suresh Gopi, who is contesting as a BJP candidate in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency, should win. He said, "If Suresh Gopi loses, the loss is for Thrissur and both political parties in Kerala will try to defeat Suresh Gopi." He stated this while speaking at Kaumudi Movies' 'Major Speaks' event.

"If Suresh Gopi wins, it will change the face of Thrissur. I'm pretty sure of that. Even though he is not an MP, he spent around one crore from his own hands to develop the market here. His people know that if he has the power, he will do it. But I am afraid of the dirty games of politics. Left and Right who say we are not together here will say we are together at the Center and UP."

"There is fear that these two parties will play unethical games to defeat Suresh Gopi. But several women communities love Suresh. Mothers and sisters. They may be from communist families. But they will vote for Suresh. If Suresh Gopi wins there, Trissur will get the benefit," said Major Ravi.

"Suresh Gopi is still being trolled by many people. But even today we are seeing that Suresh Gopi is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's favourite pet. So if he leaves his constituency as an MP, as a minister, the benefit is not for Suresh Gopi's family, but for his constituency. So what if Suresh Gopi doesn't win, he will act in movies and make money. Live comfortably. There is no need for this effort at this age," said Major Ravi.
