Anaswara Rajan, who debuted as a child actor in 2012, is now at the summit of success and fame. Anaswara after doing protagonist character in a slew of humour-tinged movies, took a great leap with the 2023 movie ‘Neru’, in which she acted alongside 'actor marvel' Mohanlal. Albeit the big cast included in the film, it was Anaswara’s terrific performance that won accolades all over. And now, in a candid talk with Dhanya Varma, the actress opened up about the cyber-attack that nearly pushed her to depression during her 18th birthday.

“My sister gifted me a pair of shorts for my 18th birthday. I wore it and posted a photo on Instagram. Never did I know that people would throng in with vile comments. Many demeaning comments appeared on my page while some elders asked whether I was waiting to turn 18 to post such sleazy pics. Even my family was taken aback by this. It was only my sister who held me close and gave me all her support.

Since then, I made it a habit to be very careful during interviews to not spill any blunders for troll pages or memes to again train guns at me. Even in my YouTube videos, I rarely open the comment box since some replies hurt me very much. It will ensure that I spend the coming days lonely in depression. So I tried to avoid it. But my latest movie including ‘Neru’ helped me fight those feelings. Now I’m recovering from it and I hope I can henceforth survive any such vicious cyber-attack” said Anaswara.
