State Television Awards announced: Sivaji Guruvayur Best Actor, Shisira PV Best Actress

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Shivaji Guruvayur and Shisira PV were selected as the best actor and best actress in the tele-serial category at the State Television Awards 2022. Both will get Rs 15,000, a citation and a sculpture. The awards for the best and second best teleserials were not announced as there were no best entries in the story category. Manilal was selected as the best documentary director. Prof. Aliyar is the best commentator. The best director is Mridul TS. The award is Rs 20,000, a citation and a sculpture. Bhoomi, directed by Mithunchandran for Nila 24, won the award for Best Telefilm (Less than 20 minutes). Kanam, directed by Mridul TS, was selected as the best telefilm of more than 20 minutes. 24 News Chief Editor R. Sreekandan Nair is the best presenter.

The best script award went to TK Santosh Kumar (Post Truth Television). The award is Rs 10,000, a citation and a sculpture. Other Awards: Best Story Writer - Sudevan PP, Best Comedian - Bhasi Vaikam, Best Children's Short Film - Village Cricket Boy, Best Second Actor - Anu Varghese, Actress - Athira Dileep, Best Child Actor - DaVinci Santhosh, Cinematographer - Salu K. Thomas, Visual Designer- Sachin Satya, Sound Designer- Vinayak Suthan, Art Director- Amaldev. Best News Cameraman - Santosh S. Pillai, News Anchor - Anuja Rajesh. Minister Saji Cherian announced the awards. The date of award distribution will be announced later.
