Muraleedharan is the best leader in Kerala, will abide by any decision party takes, says T N Prathapan

THRISSUR: K Muraleedharan is the best leader in Kerala, said Congress leader T N Prathapan MP. Prathapan while talking to the media said whoever contests in Thrissur, will support them and the win of the congress is my necessity.

He said that he will abide by any decision the party takes and will be in Muraleedharan's driving seat. There were reports earlier that Prathapan will be the UDF candidate in Thrissur. The party decided to field Muraleedharan as the candidate for the constituency at a time when Prathapan was going ahead with the election campaign.

It is heard that Prathapan will be given a seat in the assembly. Vadakara sitting MP K Muraleedharan was shifted to Thrissur after Padmaja Venugopal left Congress and joined the BJP. Shafi Parambil is likely to contest in Vadakara.

Reports said Karunakaran's son K Muraleedharan is being brought to his old turf to cover Padmaja’s foray to the BJP. K C Venugopal will contest in Alappuzha. Rahul Gandhi is likely to contest from Wayanad. The party has decided to field sitting MPs in other constituencies.
