Padayappa attacks again in Munnar, damages tourists’ car

IDUKKI: The wild tusker Padayappa goes on the rampage again in Munnar. The tusker entered Udumalpet interstate pathway. The tusker damaged the car of tourists from Andhra Pradesh. The occupants of the car fled from the place.

The wild tusker had vandalised the jeep carrying a patient to the hospital last Saturday. The passengers had a narrow escape. The elephant vandalised the jeep of Pradeep of Rajamala. Pradeep came with the jeep near Kannimala Factory to carry wife of Renjith of Kannimala to the hospital. Renjith and his family entered the jeep and when about to start the vehicle, Padayappa attacked unexpectedly.
