KOZHIKODE: K Muraleedharan on Friday said that he is taking up the task assigned by the party in Thrissur. He said that the policy is to push the BJP to the third position everywhere and will start campaigning in Thrissur from tomorrow.
"UDF expects a good fight and victory. BJP cannot gain foothold in Kerala. They should not come at second position anywhere. I was informed about changing the seats yesterday. I undertook it like I contested in Vadakara from Vattiyoorkavu before. It was because the party demanded it. Now I will compete in Thrissur. We won't allow to give up Karunakaran to the Sanghis. The task assigned by the party is to challenge the BJP. If BJP field Padmaja against me, the work will be much less," Muraleedharan scoffed.
