‘I’ve the right to scold my activists,’ statement of going to Thiruvananthapuram was just to scare, says Suresh Gopi

THRISSUR: Suresh Gopi, the NDA candidate of Thrissur, reacted for lashing out at the BJP activists in Thrissur over the low turnout when he came for the election campaign yesterday. He said that he has the right to lash at his party workers.

‘There were some people there. The others were at the place where two children went missing. They later came running from there. When we entered the car after having coffee, the adivasis came and told my activists that their names have not been included in the voters list. There are no votes for the children completing 18. Then I will have to scold my activists. I have that right for that and that is capability.

After elected tomorrow, I cannot go there and stay there. These activists then need to address such issues. If they don’t address and if the public say that they have already said, then will scold them like this. The hint given was for it and I have the right for it. I have the right to hold and scold them.

The actor said that he did not say simply that he will go to Thiruvananthapuram. That is one way of scaring them. That's how it is. They should do what they have to do. If not, I will not be able to do my job. Even if won tomorrow, the activists of the party should go to each grass root and inform me about the issues.

People can no longer be fooled through this crooked mind. What all you said about Modi? Brought India to the top of the world. ‘The more you insult, the more we will rise,’ said Suresh Gopi.
