Popular adult star Sophia Leone found dead in Miami apartment, stepfather confirms

MIAMI: The prominent face of the adult film industry, Sophia Leone was found dead in her apartment in Miami, USA. Sophia’s family informed her followers about the tragic passing of the star actress on Saturday. According to reports, Sophia remained unreachable from the first week of March which forced her family to approach police for help. They later found her inside the apartment and soon the death was confirmed. Police have now started an investigation into the case.

“On behalf of Sophia's mother and family, it is with great sadness that I share the news of our beloved Sophia's passing. Her sudden departure has left her family and friends devastated'- Mike Romero, the actor's stepfather, wrote on social media. The family also revealed their financial strait and requested funds from the public through the website 'Go Fund Me' to conduct the funeral of the actress.

Born in Miami on June 10, 1997, Sophia entered the adult film business at the age of 18. The actor, known for engaging constantly in social media, had also shared posts during the 1st of March. The death of Sophia has further confounded matters within the industry as this is the fourth actress to have died mysteriously in just three months. In January, actress Jessie Jane, another blue star, was found dead in her Oklahoma home with boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller. Taina Fields, a Peruvian star, and Kagney Linn Karter, who died under unusual circumstances, were the others.
