THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Food and Civil Supplies Minister GR Anil on Friday said that the mustering of ration cards will be temporarily suspended in the state. The minister stated that if mustering and rice distribution were carried out simultaneously, there would be a technical problem. He also said that if possible, mustering would be done for yellow card holders.

Hundreds of people are reaching ration shops across the state for mustering. Merchants are saying that the problem cannot be resolved without changing the current server. It was earlier decided to carry out mustering by postponing ration distribution for three days from today.
