Not Bollywood actress, this favourite actress of Malayalis charges a whopping 5 crore for 50-second commercial

Actors charge huge amounts as remuneration not only for acting in movies but also for appearing in commercials. Now, the huge remuneration received by a leading South Indian actress for appearing in a commercial has become a hot topic of discussion on social media.

Before entering the film industry, the above-mentioned actress had worked as a model and television anchor. The actress is none other than Nayanthara, the lady superstar of South India. According to reports, Nayanthara recently charged a whopping Rs 5 crore for appearing in a 50-second commercial for Tata Sky. The ad, which was shot over two days, has been released in four languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Nayanthara, who has fans all over South India, charges around Rs 10 crore for a film. The 39-year-old actress is married to Tamil director Vignesh Shivan. The couple has four luxurious homes and is living with their children Uyir and Ulag in a 4 BHK flat. Nayanthara, who has several luxury cars, also owns a private jet.

The actress made her Bollywood debut last year through Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Jawaan'. She received widespread acclaim for her performance in the film. Nayanthara was last seen in the Tamil film 'Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food'.
