THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC is all set to start driving schools in 22 places in the state soon. KSRTC MD Pramod Shankar has instructed the officials to prepare everything, including test grounds.
Training centers will be established at Staff Training Centre, Parassala, Eenchakal, Attingal, Anayara, Chathannur, Chadayamangalam, Mavelikara, Pandalam, Pala, Kumali, Angamali, Perumbavoor, Chalakudy, Nilambur, Ponnani, Edappal, Chittoor, Kozhikode, Mananthavadi, Thalassery and Kanjangad in the first phase.
It is decided to provide the best quality driving training at the most reasonable cost. The objective is to create an international standard light motor vehicle driving qualification by imparting precision training. KSRTC will also consider providing additional training to its drivers in the driving schools to be launched with all modern facilities.
