Woman escapes from man's Tamil movie-style revenge attempt

INDORE: A man and his friend have been arrested for taking revenge on a woman who rejected his proposal. The said man, Sanjay, attempted to inject the blood of an infected beggar into the young woman's body, but the woman managed to escape. The incident took place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Sanjay proposed to the girl but she rejected him. When the man insisted again to marry him and went on to harass her, the woman lodged a complaint with the police. With this, the man decided to take revenge.

Sanjay had watched the Tamil movie 'I', and wanted the fate of Vikram's character to happen to the girl. Then, with the help of another friend, he collected blood from the body of an infected beggar who was sleeping by the roadside.

Later he tried to inject it into the woman's body but the woman ran away. Then she went to a police station and told the matter. Police arrested Sanjay and his friend Kishore.

According to the police, Sanjay is a habitual criminal and 11 cases are pending against him. The police seized the syringe from the accused's possession. The police informed that this sample has been sent for testing and further action will be taken after the results of the test.
