District collector seeks explanation from Thomas Isaac for alleged election conduct violation

k

PATHANAMTHITTA: The district collector has requested an explanation from LDF candidate Thomas Isaac in Pathanamthitta for allegedly breaching the election conduct code. Thomas Isaac has been given three days to respond to the complaint. This action was taken after the Congress lodged a complaint with the Election Commission regarding the Kudumbashree loan offer and employment scheme through K-Disc. Pathanamthitta DCC Vice President A Suresh Kumar stated that the violation of rules was evident after the District Collector's intervention.

Previously, the Congress had also complained to the Central Election Commission, accusing Thomas Isaac of violating the constitution. LDF has refuted these allegations. Additionally, the Congress had filed a complaint with the Election Commission against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the Chief Secretary and the Director of Information and Public Relations, claiming that the Chief Minister's assembly speech was being distributed throughout Kerala.
