CHENNAI: The Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule for the second leg of the tournament has been revealed, starting with a contest between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The final will be played at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The final will take place on May 26. This is the third time that Chepauk, the home ground of defending champions Chennai Super Kings, will host the IPL final.

Chennai will also be the venue for the second qualifier on May 24th. The first qualifier on the 21st and the eliminator on the 22nd will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Earlier, on February 22, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the first two weeks (21 matches) only and stated that the remainder of the schedule will be drawn up, factoring in the polling dates and venues for the Lok Sabha Elections across the country from April 19 onwards. The second leg of the tournament will start on April 8 with CSK taking on KKR.
