Nazar of Kannur is first prize winner of Summer Bumper Lottery carrying an amount of Rs 10 crore

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first prize of Summer Bumper Lottery of Rs 10 crore has been bagged by Nazar of Kannur Alakode Parappa. The ticket bearing the number SC 308797 emerged victorious. The ticket was sold by Shree Rajarajeswara Agency in Alakode.

Nazar, an auto driver took the ticket last night and became the winner this afternoon. Nazar is in shock and said that he never thought of bagging the prize. He is an auto driver in Karthikapuram.

The second prize of Rs 50 lakh is for ticket SA 177547. The draw of lots was held at the Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram at 2 pm.

Out of the 36 lakh tickets printed, 33.5 lakh tickets were sold. Three and a half lakh more tickets were sold this time than last year. The price of a ticket is Rs 250.

The Vishu Bumper Ticket of Rs 12 crore will be released tomorrow. The price of the ticket to be drawn on May 29 is Rs 300. The second prize of Rs one crore each will be shared by six people and the third prize of Rs 10 lakhs by six each.
