Pookode Veterinary College student's suicide: Siddharth's family to protest in front of Cliff House

NEDUMANGADU: Siddharth's parents and family members are gearing up for a public protest demanding that those responsible for the death of Pookode Veterinary College student Siddharth be brought to justice. Siddharth's father Jayaprakash told the media that the Chief Minister cheated them and he will protest with his family in front of the Cliff House until justice is served.

Jayaprakash's reaction came after completing Siddharth's 41st posthumous rites yesterday. "The strike is delayed because of my wife's health condition. The strike will begin within a week. The government should clarify why the police is protecting Akshay, a student who is being hidden by MM Mani. The girls found guilty by the Anti-Ranging Squad should be arrested immediately. The role of the SFI leader who tortured my son morning and evening for eight months should be brought to light. The SFI operatives brutally tortured my son like Naxal militants trained on how to hurt the body without injury. The animal welfare department has not taken any action against the dean who gave a false report to take back the suspended students. The fact that the police stopped the investigation before starting the CBI investigation should also be investigated. Akshay has said that Arsho comes to Pookode. Arsho may have committed the murder. Jayaprakash said that he has visited the Leader of the Opposition, the Governor and Union Ministers to seek help in the case. He said that the only people he didn't approach were the communists.
