Accident in Gulf; Rafeeq from Malappuram meets tragic end

MUSCAT: A Malayali youth met a tragic end in an accident in the Gulf. The accident happened on Saturday afternoon in Misfa Jifnain, Oman. The death was caused by a collision of trucks. The deceased is Rafeeq (37), a native of Kondotty Muthuparamba, Malappuram. Rafeeq was an employee of the Suhol Al Fayha Company.

The Omani driver who was with Rafeeq escaped with minor injuries in the accident. Rafeeq was working as a delivery supervisor at Suhol Al Fayha Company for eleven years. Father: Muhammad, Mother: Aleema, Wife: Shahana. They have two children, one who is five years old and a second child who is one-and-a-half years old.

Meanwhile, the death rites of Kunjeetu, a native of Erumapetty Kadangode, Thrissur Wadakkanchery, who died due to a heart attack, were performed in Dukan, Al Qassim Province, Saudi Arabia. Kunjeetu, who was working in the field of aluminium fabrication at Dukan, died of a heart attack at his place of stay on the 22nd of this month. Unaisa KMCC Central Committee and Khuraiman Salhia KMCC workers took the lead in completing the legal process.
